Kidd-Smith Trade Clause

The Jason Kidd-Josh Smith trade between Miranda Orangers and Gayumagics includes a swap of either their 2nd or 3rd round picks of the 2009-10 draft whichever round will be beneficial to Gayumagics after the swap.

Game Recaps - Day 3, Week 19

Troy, Tony and the Rooks. Troy Murphy (11 points, 13 rebounds) had his usual double-double, Tony Parker had a monster 37-4-4 line and the rookies Brook and Mario did their fair share (combined for 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists) as Autodraft protect its 7-2 lead over the Warmers. Richardson (22-4-3) and Thornton (25-5-2) had big nights but to no avail. And spank you very much to Autodraft's Delonte West's 8 steals. Couldn't have done it without you, man!

Seesaw Battle. The game shifted again between the Orangers and zenmaster. Big nights from coach commish's potential keepers: Nash (29-5-10), Kidd (17-7-9) and Boozer (20-17-3) gave back the lead to the Orangers at 6-3. Non-factor nights for Mike Conley (who left early in his game) and Andris Biedrins and the absence of Kevin Durant all contributed to this zenmaster's turbulent Thursday.

Smelling Blood. Coach Canta shows no mercy as his team pours it on over the injury-ridden Team Padim. Ron Artest, Josh Howard and Matt Barnes combined for 14 threes en route to a rout. Coach's Decision lead 7-2. Thabo is third on my player of the day list with a 15-8-4 line cherry-topped with 3 steals and 3 blocks.

Half Man, Half Al-mazing. Sick night for godofgamblers' Vince Carter who drained 5 threes and finished with 34 points. Al Horford also controlled the inside with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks. Henlyn Bombers could only helplessly look on, whose team tonight was basically Shaq and no one else (Krypto-Nate was a no-show). godofgamblers now lead 7-2.

Hottest Team? The MysteryMen are making themselves known, no pun intended. Today they poured on 149 points (second only to Brokensauce total today of 153) as Pierce, Jefferson and who's that other guy? LeBron something - scored at will. Valiant effort for Gayu's Marquis Daniels though (28-4-4, with 3 steals), but coach Ari and his team are staring at a 2-7 hole.

Dwyane needs help. Badly. vavavavavavan's Dwyane Wade gets my player of the day vote once again although his fantasy team is down. He finished with 35 points, 6 rebounds and 16 assists. Add a steal and a block, 2 treys while shooting 62% from the field. He needs help though. MNL Warriors just skewered through all this D-Wade glory with double doubles from David Lee and Kendrick Perkins. MNL lead 6-3.

Let it rain. As I said, Brokensauce scored today. Big time. 5 players scored at least 20. Oh yeah, and they passed too. Devin Harris had 11 assists and Marc Gasol was 2 rebounds shy of a triple double. Say what? Yep. He had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists (Go Euro!). The spaniard also finished with 3 steals and 3 blocks. Second in my player of the day list.

DerON, JamisON, BrandON. They were all ON tonight, but kwek kwek eater are still staring at a 3-5 deficit. oLAtSAL leaned on big games from Al Harrington, Dirk Novitzki, John Salmons and Travis Outlaw to keep the lead.

Game Recaps - Day 2, Week 19

Autodraft vs. Burn Warmers (7-2)

Miranda Orangers vs. z e n m a s t e r (3-5)

A full roster for z e n m a s t e r against four players for coach commish? Please. Not even big nights from Nash (20-7-8, with 4 STLS) and Odom (2-13-8, with 6 blocks) can stop that thing from turning around.

z e n m a s t e r now lead 3-5 powered by big scoring nights from Kobe (31) and S-Jax (23-7-6) and double-doubles from Tyrus Thomas (14 PTS, 12 REBS, 3 STLS and 3 BLKS) and Andris Biedrins (10 PTS, 13 REBS).

Team Padim vs. Coach's Decision (2-7)

Would have been a nice day for Team Padim with Amare, Al-Jeff and Danny Granger all in the roster. Sadly, injuries to all three would see none of them on the floor.

Coach Canta cruises to a 7-2 lead powered by Ron Artest (13-6-5) and Antonio McDyess (16-12-2, with 3 BLKS). Old School basketball!

godofgamblers vs. Henlyn Bombers (5-4)

Tightest match of the week - features a Bomber lineup featuring Big Diesel and Superman, who combined today for 40 PTS,  19 REBS, 5STLS and 3 BLKS versus the balanced godofgambler attack - with all seven players contributing a 4-cat at least.

Balance wins over the Biggies. At least for today. 5-4, godofgamblers.

Gayumagics vs. MysteryMen (7-2)

Richard Jefferson (20-5-6) and Chauncey Billups (34 points with 4 3PTM) enjoyed playing against their former teams today much to the delight of Mystery coach Dinio. Not even a big 6-cat night from Gayu's Charlie V (24-15-2, 1 STL, 2 BLKS and 3 3PTM) could slow down the rampage. MysteryMen lead 7-2.

Welcome to the Saktong Tumalon Page

Author: Wes Platon / Autodraft Luckypick

So it has come to this. After I created my fantasy team's website, chronicling my team's glorified quest for a three-week winning streak, the commish has taken attention. And naturally has some questions.

How come I can dish out recaps and analysis and none of you can react? How come I can put my team and players in the limelight and you have to content yourselves with two sentences of my indifferent analysis of your matchups?

His solution: A Saktong Tumalon page here in blogspot where you can post everything about your team and our league. I imagine he'll give you the access info to enable you to post your rants/raves here. We only ask for several things:

1. Minimize profanity. No pornography. (hehe)
2. See what I did on top when I typed as my first line "Author: Wes Platon"? Please do so too. Of course, use your name.
3. No non-sense spamming - like repeating "you lose!!!" a hundred times.
4. No side bets.
5. Trade analysis is allowed. Trade offers, please do so at the Yahoo! site.

So post on my fellow Saktong Tumalon coaches! Congratulations, we just got bigger!:)

*As for Rule 2: It has come to my attention that commish will send out invitations to your gmail accounts so that you can use those to post entries here, hence rendering Rule 2 redundant. Nevertheless, I think it's a good practice to have the author line up there as well. Salamat!
